Primary Purpose: The Lease Accounting Analyst will join the Tapestry Europe Finance Control team for12-months and is responsible for the production of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting internal & external audits as required.

 

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Lease Accounting to:

  • Support the Finance Control team with monthly close process, including posting journal entries, completing balance sheet reconciliations, and closing the legal entity books
  • Process all monthly changes to leases in lease accounting tool (Tririga)
  • Develop strong cross functional relationships with FP&A, Legal, and Global Accounting teams
  • Own all lease related journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline, this will involve significant interaction with Legal and Global Lease Accounting teams
  • Assist in maintaining and improving internal controls and processes as the finance function continues to mature
  • Support the wider Control team with ongoing projects and initiatives

 

 The accomplished individual will possess...

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified/part qualified
  • Minimum of 3 years+ accounting experience at multinational public company or major accounting firm
  • Experience with lease accounting (either in industry or practice)
  • Strong technical accounting skills, including experience with US GAAP
  • Experience using SAP and Blackline
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter, takes initiative, highly motivated
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible regarding changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Ability to perform critical analysis and thinking, prioritize and problem solve
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • European languages is a plus
