The Assistant Account Manager for Asia Travel Retail, is responsible for supporting Senior Account Manager in sales, retail presentations, account management, product assortment and brand building activities. The ideal candidate will quickly gain a good understanding of the business and be able to identify issues and recommend action plans. The Assistant Account Manager has strong follow thru, is solution-driven, possesses strong analytical acumen and takes initiatives. Drive the Business
- Maintain close partnership with accounts by understanding and supporting their business through store visits, market intelligence and periodic meetings
- Support and identify sales initiatives to further grow the business (ex: GWP promotion, staff incentives, Exclusives launch) and able to measure results and effectiveness
- Develop strong business relationships externally and internally to gain support and cooperation to drive business.
Planning and Analysis
- Coordinate seasonal market week timeline and appointment arrangement
- Sharing key strategies and new product introductions as well as review and suggest accounts’ orders based on their door profiling
- Closely monitor on actual shipment vs. Shipment plan and update shipment forecast
- Validate and analyze regional pricing, POS & inventory data and identify risk and opportunities
- Prepare reports and presentation deck
Customer Service/Operations
- Partner with finance teams on sales update and timely payments reconciliation
- Closely communicate with regional area manager, VM and Training team to ensure existing and new stores as well as store staffs meet Coach Standards
- Support new store openings: new account set-up, monitor on new store checklist and follow up with internal and external partners and vendors on deliverables
The accomplished individual will possess...
- Bachelor Degree with 3 years+ of international sales and/or account management experience, preferably with Travel Retail experience in Asia
- Experience working with DFS and/or Taiwan travel retail accounts is a plus
- Advanced Retail Math and Excel skills; Experience with business intelligence systems is a plus
- Superior organizational skills, ability to multi-task and strong analytical skills
- Positive “can do” attitude, take initiative and proactive problem solver and detail oriented
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
- Willing to travel (around 20 - 30%)
