Primary Purpose

 

The In-Store Visual Merchandiser will be the key liaison and trainer for Coach House Regent Street. The In-Store VM will partner with Field VM team to ensure the store is always merchandised in line with VM Guidelines and Coach standards. The position reports to the Store Management team, and Senior VM Manager. 

 

 

PROFILE

 

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Visual Merchandising to:

 

Partnership

  • Collaborate with Regional VM to support all VM workflows.
  • Building relationships through training and sharing knowledge and skill sets/techniques.
  • Continually generate new ideas while maintaining a collaborative and flexible mind-set.

 

Training

  • Training and developing In-Store tea,m, to understand the store environment, customer flow, and product flow of the shop floor.
  • Training on all VM trends for the season
  • Training and developing In-Store VM on managing sell through while maintaining best in class VM presentations.
  • Training and developing In-Store VM on being mindful of Global VM directives when supporting business objectives.

 

Visual Merchandising

  • Communicating all seasonal VM Guideline messages and key ideas.
  • Communicating the monthly flow ideas and how they translate for the region.
  • Communicating styling and composition techniques to region when adapting VM Guidelines to architecture and assortment.

 

Organization & Time Management

  • Planning all workflows in advance to ensure smooth and successful VM execution in store.
  • Ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ensuring workflows in store are executed in clear and transparent timelines.
  • Working autonomously or in teams as needed to achieve the best results: ensuring the right people are involved at the right time.
  • Executing the Store Visit Checklist and VM Audit in store.

 

Communication

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to interface with a diverse group.
  • Championing the Global VM Guideline: being up to date on all VM initiatives and merchandising trends and techniques.
  • Cascading seasonal messages down to all levels in the region.
  • Guidelines are understood and put into action across all stores where applicable.

 

The accomplished individual will possess:

 

BA or BS with a minimum of 2-3 years of visual merchandising experience for fashion related brand, specialty retailer; field visual merchandising and/ or corporate visual experience preferred.

 

  • Passion for visual merchandising and fashion.
  • Strong aesthetic and visual design/styling experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to interface with a diverse group.
  • Facilitating training experience.
  • Strong initiative, ownership and accountability for business.
  • Ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Flexibility to travel.
  • Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
