Primary Purpose:

 

This  Forecasting Analyst position is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with inbound product delivery and outbound shipment demands to distributor and wholesale accounts.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports by gathering, analyzing, and validating data accuracy across multiple database sources (Excel, SAP and Microstrategy). 
  • Play an integral part in quarterly post market reconciliation to ensure customer demands accurately captured and produced.
  • Perform root cause analysis of demand issues and provide solutions for the commercial business and escalation to management whenever necessary.
  • Track production inbound product deliveries from manufacturing service providers to company distribution points and be able to provide risk analysis where necessary.
  • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect latest POS sales results and market assumptions
  • Build relationships, interact and collaborate with sales, operations, finance, buying, inventory management, and logistic partners to understand changes to demand forecast drivers.

 

An outstanding professional will have...

  • 2-3 years of experience in B2B or consulting industry
  • Analytical skills and ability to translate data into action points
  • Advanced Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, macro building a plus)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • BA/BS university degree or its equivalent in business, finance, economics, supply chain.
