Primary Purpose: The Assistant, Licensing will act as a key member of the Licensed Merchandising team, supporting the implementation of Global Merchandising strategies for the licensed businesses across the direct channels. The position will report to the Manager, and will support on the Eyewear category, with focus on the Fragrance licensed categories.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Merchandising to...

  • Create and Analyze monthly and quarterly sales reports with actionable analysis.
  • Own style set up process using PLM systems. Partner with licensees to ensure style attributes are accurate (including costing, product life cycle).
  • Create market week tools for Line Presentation (i.e. linelists, assortment presentations, and other buying tools).
  • Manage GWP product development collaboration with licensed partners and Design teams
  • Coordinate product development with multiple CFTs, internal and external
  • Manage samples and coordinate sample/photography set up for business needs
  • Partner with Supply Operations to ensure smooth, timely, and accurate purchase orders pre- and in-season delivery
  • Participate in the line planning and development process
  • Act as point of contact to CFTs including Design, Buying, Visual Merchandising and Supply Operations teams to ensure deliverables and product lifecycle calendar deadlines are met.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Pivot tables

  • Strong understanding of Selling KPIs and Retail Math
  • Experience with seasonal line presentations and purchase order coordination

  • BA or BS degree preferred
  • Internship-1 year of buying /merchandising experience in a related business or brand
