Job Title:  Account Associate - North America Wholesale / New York, NY

Primary Purpose: The Account Associate is responsible for supporting the Senior Account Executive with wholesale account management. The ideal candidate will quickly gain a good understanding of the business needs and be able to support on the largest partner within wholesale. The Account Associate is organized, has strong attention to detail and takes initiative. This individual should have strong analytical acumen. They will be relied upon to build relationships internally and externally.

Drive the business:

    • Support the achievement of total, comp and net sales targets.
    • Follow through on key strategies and product category initiatives.
    • Knowledge of products and all Coach Standards.
    • Responsible for all market week planning and logistics, including appointment scheduling, product information and updated account summaries.
    • Ensure receipt of weekly retail sales POS data, operational data and monthly ending reports.
    • Participate in regular monitoring of business results to support sales driving initiatives

 

Customer Service/Operations:

    • Establish strong working relationships with wholesale partner as well as internal partners.
    • Ownership of all day to day coordination, operational follow up and account communication.
    • Provide all required product and digital information for timely launch of all new products.
    • Responsible for Order management execution, monitoring and tracking results.
    • Align orders with allocations and confirm accuracy and timely receipt of all orders.
    • Regularly monitor and ensure accuracy and proper visibility of on-line assortments. 


Cross-functional partnership:

    • Build and maintain relationships with internal teams including finance, merchandising, operations and field executives. 
    • Support the field team with product information including on order reporting, delivery updates and follow up on reorder requests.
    • Document and organize all seasonal sales/buying files and collaboration tools for efficient access. 
    • Partner with operations to ensure execution of systemic updates and 3rd party vendor invoicing.

    • Account Management background.
    • Analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP and Micro Strategy a plus.
    • Retail math.
    • Superior organizational skills, ability to multi-task.
    • Initiative, high energy, strategic thinking and detail oriented.
    • Customer service experience.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.


An outstanding professional will have...

    • Bachelor's degree.
    • 2-3 years of buying or account management and/or relevant experience.
    • Global and/or luxury brand experience a plus.
