Primary Purpose: The Art Director is responsible for the Design and execution of the Coach Outlet Brand across Print and Digital

 

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Art Direction and Design to...

  • Work in tandem with the Design Director on the conceptual development and graphic execution of the following:
    • Seasonal campaigns
    • Collaboration campaigns
    • Collateral materials
    • Window Vinyls
    • In-store Signage
    • Mall advertising
    • Extending ideas into Visual Merchandising
    • Extending print campaign ideas into digital needs
  • Collaborate with the copywriter
  • Support the maintenance of design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Communicate design rationales and respond to internal client feedback.
  • Partner with Creative lead, Designers and Project Managers on day-to-day creative updates and site changes.

 

The accomplished individual will possess...

 

  • Expertise in: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Bridge and Acrobat.
  • A refined taste level with expert design and typography skills.
  • Strong graphic design skillse
  • Experience with photography direction and styling. 
  • Strong knowledge of fashion photography history and trends. 
  • Ability to concept design solutions with limited direction.
  • Ability to think outside the box and awareness of digital trends.
  • Ability to prioritize with tight deadlines and follow through.
  • Extremely detail oriented, well organized, strong problem solving skills.
  • Team player with positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • An understanding of customer priorities and ability to strive to exceed expectations.
  • Ability to take direction from design director and creative director and provide multiple solutions
  • Ability to prioritize (quickly and efficiently) with tight deadlines and follow through.
  • Ability to mentor and manage junior to midlevel designers

 

An outstanding professional will have...

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design/Communication Arts.
  • 4+ years’ experience in Graphic Design, with a focus on Fashion and/or Branding.
  • Technical knowledge with the ability to execute creative using InDesign Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Knowledge of Figma, Sketch and Adobe XD a plus
