Title: Associate Graphic Designer - Ready-to-Wear & Accessories
Location: New York, NY
Primary Purpose: The Associate Graphic Designer - Ready-to-Wear & Accessories will be responsible for creating graphics, illustrations, and logos – from concept to finish for Coach Apparel and Accessories across full price, outlet, and collection.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Design to...
· Create original graphics, illustrations, and logos from scratch and/or through manipulation of existing artwork or branding elements
· Research inspirational references through online, books and archives
· Create fresh, desirable and brand appropriate colorways of graphics
· Contribute to in-house presentations – create CADs of graphics, illustrations and logos
· Create presentation boards (digital and/or physical) and ensure to update them with most accurate art and information
· Create and maintain clean, color indexed and/or print-ready artwork files
· Work proactively according to development calendar to stay ahead of timelines
· Serve as resource to internal partners, sharing the Adobe expertise and passion for technology
· Partner with cross-functional teams within design, product development and materials
The accomplished individual will possess...
· Minimum 3 years of graphic design work experience preferably in accessories or apparel market
· Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design or related field
· Must be skilled at hand drawing and CAD
· Highly-developed taste level and sensitivity to color balance
· Solid proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
· Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate as a team player
· Ability to prioritize, multi-task and adapt to change
· Extremely organized and detail-oriented – excellent calendar adherence and ownership
· Excellent time management skills
