eCommerce Manager, Product Assortment Strategy

Primary Purpose: As part of the growing Outlet .com team, the Manager will support the growth of the Men's business across all categories. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Outlet Ecommerce and oversee performance for the Men's business on the Outlet website. Working closely with cross functional teams, this role will optimize the ecommerce product assortment strategies, identify and utilize new technologies to showcase product, and identify future opportunities by customer segments.

  • Responsible for driving the product presentation strategies across site and digital marketing for all Men's categories.
  • Partner with site experience, marketing, and buying teams to create and maintain digital strategies that align with sales, margin, and merchandising strategies.
  • Leverage digital customer and product insights to evaluate and identify seasonal ecommerce product and promotional strategies for Women’s business
  • Key partner with Men's omni buying team in reviewing seasonal product flows, promotions, and 360 campaigns as well as partnering on any in season digital opportunities.
  • Monitor top search terms on site to identify assortment and merchandising opportunities
  • Analyze product sales by marketing channel and shop to identify opportunities in ecommerce product assortment and maximize digital marketing.
  • Work cross functionally with operations and product teams to provide an excellent customer experience across product, inventory, pricing and promotions
  • Manage in season and LRP shot counts to ensure PDP product imagery is compelling across all categories
  • Point person for cross functional teams to influence technologies that enhance products on
  • Maintain robust competitive intelligence to monitor trends, pricing strategies and presentation techniques


The accomplished individual will possess...

  • BA or BS degree preferred.
  • 5-6 year’s ecommerce merchandising or buying/planning experience required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; comprehensive understanding of retail math.
  • Team-oriented with ability to interact with partners across the organization at all levels; ability to negotiate and influence peers and members of cross-functional team.
  • Strong listening, written and exceptional oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional ability to adapt to changing priorities and react with appropriate sense of urgency.
  • Must have strong Excel skills; Merchandising systems experience required, Demandware experience a plus.
