Primary Purpose:

The Photographer, eCommerce Photography Studio will oversee the photo shoot process from conceptualization to capture and delivery of assets for Coach and Stuart Weitzman brands.  In addition to supporting on-set production, this person will act as a key collaborator, partnering with art directors as well as pre and post production teams.

 

In this role, the qualified candidate will be responsible for managing both direct and dotted line photographer and stylist reporting.

 

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in E-Commerce Photography to...

 

  • Lead on-set studio operations, collaborating with product stylists, production, and retouching partners to create compelling eCommerce imagery
  • Execute a broad range of still-life and fashion briefs across product categories
  • Set up lighting and composition, ensuring products are represented accurately, and in line with brand guidelines
  • Maintain exposure and color accuracy standards while producing a high volume of images
  • Create and continually refine photography reference guides and set plans
  • Manage the organization of digital files, ensuring integrity and accessibility for the team
  • Mark-up imagery with clear and informative direction for retouching
  • Perform quality assurance on all images and feedback as necessary
  • Maintain photo equipment and cleanliness of the studio
  • Ensure all equipment is stored and properly secured at the end of each shoot day
  • Collaborate with studio partners to review workflow processes, efficiencies and output
  • Mentor, train and develop photographer, styling, and freelance talent

 

The accomplished individual will possess...

 

  • BA Degree in photography or equivalent experience in a professional environment
  • Fluency in Adobe CS, Capture One Pro is essential
  • Expert in studio lighting brands and methods, photography equipment and digital techniques
  • A strong awareness of contemporary trends in photography and fashion
  • Ability to learn new processes and programs quickly

Additional Requirements

Physical: Ability to frequently lift and carry up to twenty five pounds.

Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business. This position may require availability select nights and weekends.
