Primary Purpose: Lead the Global Store Operations team in implementing best in class solutions to modernize the in-store customer experience, expand Coach Create customization platforms in all markets, as well as drive initiatives to streamline store operations. Support the implementation of projects in North America and globally, in close collaboration with Retail, Outlet and cross-functional partners or outside vendors. Manage planning and budgets related to each project. The role will report to the VP of Global Client Development & Store Operations.

Streamline store operations globally:

  • Identify in-store opportunities to simplify and streamline store operations and back-of-house activities
  • Propose and develop solutions with cross functional partners
  • Partner with each business units’ local store operations teams to roll out initiatives and measure impact
  • Compile and share best practices with international partners

 

Drive Customization and Coach Create – Personalization / Customization / Made-To-Order platforms:

  • Define with leadership the expansion plan (new silhouettes, new platforms) of Coach Create
  • Work with cross functional partners to develop solutions to launch seamlessly new customization platforms (i.e. C101 MTO)
  • Lead the operational expansion of personalization / customization / made to order platforms globally
  • Develop seamless processes to accelerate expansion

 

Modernize the in-store customer experience:

  • Lead the operational expansion of in-store digital innovation (i.e. scarf bar, wallet bar) and coordinate the workflow between outside vendors and internal partners (i.e. IT, Training, VM, Construction, Procurement) to ensure successful roll-out of new platforms
  • Identify new critical functionalities based on user feedback and work with outside vendors and internal partners for implementation

 

Budget management:

  • Plan and identify financial needs to support existing and new projects
  • Track all spending and keep tight control over financial resources

 

Team management:

  • Lead and develop the Global Store Operations team in New York
  • Align and coach international business units on strategic priorities while driving global initiatives in their markets

 

The accomplished individual will possess...

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years store operations experience
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills and come up with new ideas and suggestions from these results
  • Ability to implement strategies, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments to achieve objectives
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task projects in a dynamic, fast paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Luxury brand experience
  • Retail experience
