Job Title: Sr. Manager, Product Development RTW

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in RTW and product development to...

  • Act as key cross-functional partner for Design, Merchandising, Materials and Technical Teams. 
  • Execute product development activities based on strategies and priorities set by Director of PD.
  • Manage all aspects of development while engaging Design to ensure aesthetic intent.
  • Monitor calendars to ensure timeliness of deliverables.
  • Align cross-functionally on the execution of development and implementation of strategies to drive decision-making.
  • Analyze Design Cards for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with Tech the sending of development packages, materials and trims to sample rooms and Service Providers.
  • Manage the timely delivery of samples, mockups and other submits from sample facilities (international and domestic) to Design.
  • Track sample development deliveries.
  • Support the review of prototypes to meet Product Development Timeline milestones.
  • Coordinate workload, communication and direction directly to factories both overseas and domestic.
  • Work out of the box, multitask and juggle ad hoc projects and processes for quick accurate turnaround.
  • Attend weekly fittings and lead weekly cross functional team meetings
  • Support maintenance of Bill of Materials in ECVision.
  • Review Weekly WIP submissions for production and delivery status
  • Collect and evaluate costing for accuracy of materials at proto, LP, and bulk stages. Support costing in ECvision
  • Support the investigation and development of new SP’s.
  • Prepare data for end of season recaps.
  • Assist with new systems transition (ECvision)


The accomplished invidivual will possess...

  • 5+ year’s experience in product development, costing, and production
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of the organization

  • Strong, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building working relationships within teams

  • Ability to proactively trouble shoot and problem solve.
  • Advanced computer skills, tech pack and/or BOM building experience, PLM, Microsoft Access, Outlook, Excel
