Primary Purpose: As part of the growing Outlet .com team, the Senior Manager will support the development, execution and communication of strategies and merchandising and pricing for Coachoutlet.com. This role will oversee product performance, inventory, and pricing for the Outlet website working closely with the outlet store team to gain alignment on pricing, communicate inventory/allocation opportunities, and be an advocate for the eOS business in all meetings.

  • Lead the product vision for Coachoutlet.com with responsibility to develop and execute merchandising strategies
  • Leverage business analysis and strong understanding of financial metrics to track selling, identify key trends and maximize opportunities in the assortment to achieve growth and profitability of the ecommerce business
  • Collaborate closely with North American Outlet omni buying partners to: recommend and execute compelling product assortments for Coachoutlet.com, optimizing mix and effectively positioning assortment; align Merchandising strategies with stores while identifying opportunities for effective online exclusive offerings and areas of additional depth
  • Own pricing of Coachoutlet.com – continually optimizing pricing to deliver optimal margin and sales, flexing as needed and partnering with North America Outlet team to leverage synergies in store and online
  • Collaborate with Allocation to influence allocation strategies for .com, briefing teams on sell through rates to flex future allocation strategies
  • Work with Global Merchandising team on .com exclusive product development
  • Partner with site experience teams on event strategies and optimal product features
  • Partner with Planning, Marketing and Creative teams to ensure featured products match marketing direction and inventory.
  • Sequence and monitor site and make changes based on inventory, web sales, and outlet store sales; update consistently based on inventory, newness, and sales trends.
  • Maintain robust competitive intelligence to monitor trends, pricing strategies and presentation techniques
  • Exhibit leadership capability to motivate and engage direct report. Demonstrate the ability to manage up, down and across with results


The accomplished individual will possess...

 

  • BA or BS degree required.
  • 5+ years ecommerce merchandising or buying experience required
  • Strong track record in delivering focused assortments and buys to support and drive business strategies.
  • Excellent product sensibility and ability to merchandise site in a visually appealing way.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; comprehensive understanding of retail math.
