Primary Purpose: The Technical Print Designer will handle the day to day responsibilities of the Print Studio. This role will focus on driving the print process from development stage to production. The position reports to Print Studio Director. The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Design to...

  • Create prints through original work or purchased files, clean and color separate the artwork and create repeats
  • Create CADs of prints for in-house presentations
  • Create mill ready art packages for multiple categories and labels within the house (both sampling and production)
  • Communicate with Legal Department regarding seasonal prints
  • Work proactively according to development calendar, to stay ahead of timelines
  • Serve as resource to internal partners, sharing your Adobe expertise and passion for technology
  • Maintain print archive
  • Maintain large format Epson printers and consumables
  • Engineer artwork for styles across all categories.  Ideal candidate should have great knowledge of patterns and construction.
  • Re-work artwork based on mill limitations.
  • Understand full scope of print process and techniques from development through to production stages.
  • Color match seasonal palettes to large format printers.
  • Excellent problem solver, great attention to detail and positive attitude

The accomplished individual will possess...

  • 5+ years of textile design work experience, in accessories &/or apparel market
  • College degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design, or related field
  • Must be EXPERT level Illustrator and Photoshop user, additional proficiency in Ned Graphics a plus
  • Must be skilled at hand drawing and CAD
  • Highly-developed taste level and sensitivity to color balance
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate as a team player
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and adapt to change
  • Understanding and enthusiasm for the Coach
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented – excellent calendar adherence and ownership
  • Excellent time management skills
