Primary Purpose:

As a professional Retail Human Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of Retail HR initiatives and activities, employee relations, and to enable the business to grow, improve the employee experience and streamline operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Compensation Analysis and Labor budget management (15%)

  • Support people cost analysis by collaborating with Retail FP&A Team and Retail Team.
  • Support budget management process for strategic business planning

 

Employee relations (70%)

  • Develop an understanding of employee engagement and support the delivery of initiatives designed to achieve engagement targets
  • Support maintaining positive employee relations environment through a meaningful communication strategy and practices for various HR agenda – Change Management, Equity, EI&D (Equity, Inclusion & Diversity) 
  • Foster a culture based on service and teamwork at all levels in the organization.
  • Define and develop existing arrangements for collective consultation and communication necessary for the continued development of the business in compliance with Korean labor laws, company culture and policies.
  • Support the various HR administrative process regarding employee matters through the entire employee journey in the talent management cycle  
  • Responsible for the operation of the Labor Management Council (VOTE – Voice of Tapestry)  
  • Support Retail Employee Relations (EthicsPoints, etc.) and HR Compliance (12%)
  • Advocate for local compliance initiatives and support implementation

 

 

Others (15%)
 

  • Provide training on ER matters for managers, HR teams and associate forum representatives
  • Employment management including field sales internship
  • Participate in/support HR projects that are not limited to field sales (e.g., employee surveys)
  • Participate in/support cross-functional projects and initiatives with broad organizational impact (e.g., community outreach programs, reward & recognition programs, Company events planning)

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 3 years of HRM/employee relations experience in the consumer industry
  • Solid understanding of Korea employment and labor laws
  • Good understanding global matrix organization
  • Ability to understand and advise on HR processes, functional areas, policies, local HR practices, procedures and compliance efforts
  • Excellent communication skills for both verbal and written
  • Business proficiency level of English
  • Well-organized with the ability to independently manage priorities and multi-task
  • Business acumen, customer focus, priority setting
