Title: Associate or Assistant Manager, Client Development

Location: Tokyo
Reports to: Manager, Client Development

 

Primary Purpose:
Support the implementation of clienteling initiatives and building a strong clienteling culture and capabilities in Coach, in close collaboration with cross-functional partners such as Marketing, CRM, Training, Merchandising, IT and Retail. Drive retention and sales growth of clients, with focus on top existing clients and new high potential clients.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in customer experience to...

  • Plan and execute client events (in-store and other forms of client events) to increase affinity with COACH and nature clients from new, repeater to the VIP segment. Deepen the engagement between clients and store sales associates by providing the above.

    Analyze market trends and competitor activities related to all client events and promotions and see what we can leverage from other brands including different industries.
  • 新規・既存顧客向けイベントやプロモーションに関連する市場動向や競合他社の行動を分析し、異業種を含む他のブランドから何が活用できるかを検討し実施する。
    Operate annual gifting plan with internal system for both retail and outlet channel
  • リテールおよびアウトレットチャネルの年間ギフト計画を社内システムを通して運営する。
    Optimize local deployment of global clienteling initiatives and guidelines. Communication with the US HQ, providing feedback, and willingness to learn from other regions for better performance is needed. グローバル・クライアントリング・イニシアチブおよびガイドラインを熟知し、ローカル展開の最適化を見出す。本国との綿密なコミュニケーション、継続的なフィードバックの共有、他国の成功事例から積極的に学び改善の機会を見出す。
  • Actively collaborate with local Marketing, VM, Legal and Retail Team to drive proactive customer events strategy clearly tied to business priorities with clear sales/ ROI goals; optimize customer acquisition efforts

    To be responsible for the budgets in compliance with quality and deadline and develop the budget allocation for the annual activity calendar

  • Identify external suppliers and partners, manage relationships to deliver the best quality of execution

The accomplished individual will possess...

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    学士号または同等の経験
  • Over 3 years of client development, event coordination experience, sales associate experience is a big plus
    3年以上の顧客開拓、イベントコーディネート経験。販売アソシエイト経験者歓迎。
  • General IT skills such as Excel / Word / Outlook / PowerPoint with touch-typing
    エクセル/ワード/アウトルック/パワーポイントなどの初級以上のITスキル(タッチタイピングを含む)
  • Native level Japanese language skill and business level English language is required
    ネイティブレベルの日本語力、ビジネスレベルの英語力 ( TOEIC 750~)
  • Strong interests towards marketing trends to be able to create things from zero base / scratch.
    業務上に有意義な他業種を含む業界のトレンド(化粧品業界、飲食業界、ホテルやイベント業界、小売業等)を常に意識し、クリエイティブに物事を考える思考能力。ゼロから作り上げる企画力。
