Position Title: Contractor, Retail Marketing
Reports to: Manager, Retail Marketing/Marketing & eCOM
Location: Tokyo

Primary Purpose: Under the direction of manager, the primary purpose is to support retail marketing team to communicate Coach brand and products in retail environment. This includes assisting in the execution of retail store activations, preparing marketing materials, and analyzing sales/customer data to acquire and convert new customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the retail marketing strategy planning and execution to story tell consistent brand message to consumers through retail store communication based on consumer-first mindset
Retail Store Activation Support
- Support strategic planning, preparation and execution for store brand marketing activation
- Create logical planning and recap power point decks for retail store activation based on manager’s direction
- Extract data from the system tool, and summarize the data with charts and graphs in Excel
- Prepare Internal retail communication materials such as questionnaire form to the store
- Support planning on the DPS/Mall media and OOH placement
- Communicate with cross functional teams such as Buying/Inventory Management/Allocation and Retail Field teams to check the availability of the products and store operations, etc.
- Research market / competitor trend information and report to the team
Asset Preparation
- Request editing of marketing promotion assets to internal and global team and local vendor
- Manage and prepare asset list for retail marketing promotion
Administrative Task
- Communicate with vendors to prepare the estimate and PO
- Create PO and budget system operation through buying hub, etc.
- Manage schedule for team and support miscellaneous work
Requirements:
Skillset
- Native-level communication skill in Japanese is a must
- Intermediate-level written communication skill in English is preferred
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficient in creating business presentations using PowerPoint and Excel
- Basic knowledge and experience of handling sales/customer data
- Knowledge and experience for asset production is preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Proactive collaboration skills with cross functional teams
- Business communication experience with vendors, stores, and internal cross functional teams
Experience
- Experience in retail marketing/media placement for luxury brands, with knowledge about retail indoor/outdoor digital and print media, and sophisticated proofreading skills for luxury brands or agency is preferred
- Knowledge and experience in marketing campaign visual/movie creative and asset operations is preferred
- Experience in creating strategic planning and recap decks for marketing promotions is preferred
