Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Primary:
    • Manage sales and gross margin planning for specific sales channels within the Coach Japan business unit
    • Conduct trend analysis to partner with the business teams to drive growth
      • Inbound vs local customers
      • Product inventory and assortment
      • Promotional mechanisms
      • Sales initiatives and events
    • ROI analysis on store related CAPEX investments
    • Leverage financials systems (PBCS, CORA, SAP) to support the monthly close and Quarterly Outlook (SMI)  process, delivering all the necessary reporting while making sure the stories are clear to senior management
    • Identify opportunities in current processes and leverage tools to improve
    • Lead or be part of any special project as requested

 

 

Education, Experience, Qualifications, Skills:

 

  • Communication, negotiation and influencing skills are a must in this role
  • Language skillset: Fluency in English / Japanese
  • Bachelor/Master degree in Finance/Accounting (Preferred)
  • 5+ year experience of Finance related function, ideally of a structured multinational Company, partnering with commercial functions and headquarters groups
  • Good understanding on accounting / finance knowledge
  • Familiarity with Financial systems (PBCS/MicroStrategy/SAP) is a plus
  • Robust analytical skills united to a strong commercial mindset and the ability to create sound partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Willingness/flexibility to work across multiple geographies/time zones
  • A great deal of adaptability to fast pace and flexibility during times of change
