Job Title: Manager, Commercialization

Report to: Director, Commercialization & Quality

Location: Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

 

Primary Purpose:

Manager, Commercialization will take overall responsibility for ensuring that our product is commercialized and manufactured to the highest standard. You will manage teams, ensuring that we have a high level of engagement and partnership with both our brands and our partner factories.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product commercialization: 60%
    • Ensure the product is commercialized according to CIL PD Team transfer pack to achieve design interpretation, construction integrity and cost effectiveness.
    • Ensure overall aesthetic product consistency.
    • Ensure commercialization is done according to the PDT timelines.
    • Manage sample schedule and priorities.
    • Lead sample making, review, provide comment and approve commercialization samples (CS).
    • Manage flow of product information with CIL PD as per guidelines stated.
    • Manage the product execution in partnership with PD, tech, tooling, MM and production team with thorough understanding of construction, design intent, materials and materials properties, leather in particular, and their impact to cost and production.
    • Review WT samples with testers/ tech and production team to ensure the grading properly.
    • Review TOL and First Production samples with production team to ensure aesthetic product consistency.

 

  • Relationship and Information Management: 40%

 

    • Lead daily communications with CIL PD partners.
    • Manage the sharing of information cross-functionally and externally with Service Providers.
    • Monitor all necessary reports and Tapestry systems on a timely basis.
    • Lead handover meetings with tech, POD/POM and SP to provide technical information, critical quality areas, and special execution etc. after completing the commercialization of the product.
    • Build up some system guidelines, working practice, data analysis for on-site PD team
