Senior Merchandiser, RTW

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with NY Team and Vender to ensure that product specifications are viable.
• Evaluating Fit sample / PPS / TOP.
• Support manager to follow up Inspection report / CAP.
• Communicate and drive calendar milestones in partnership with NY RTW team.
• Host the Weekly WIP call with factories – NY/Vendor.
• Support Manager to approve materials and Shade bands, review QC Files.
• Support onboarding of new SP’s.
• Visiting manufacturing sites and reporting back to senior management (MLC, 2-3 times/quarterly).
• Handling a range of admin duties, packing sample and send parcel.
• Support Manager to establish quality control standards and SOP.
• Ensuring all products are high-quality and that they conform to company standards and brand values.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in fashion, technical design, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree is preferable.
• 5+ years’ experience for Sr. merchandising position.
• Practical experience with software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD, Microsoft Office.
• Experience in working with sample rooms, patternmakers and factories.
• Knowledge with pattern and grading rule, marker.
• The ability to justify design changes.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Deadline-driven and committed to quality.
• Strong communication skills in written & spoken English.
• High attention to detail.
• Luxury brand background a plus.
