The role will report to the Director, Business Solutions, Fulfillment & Logistics Systems and be responsible for providing systems support for the Tapestry West Coast Fulfillment Center.  In this role, the person will be required to understand the business needs of these areas and to design and implement the appropriate technology solutions.  



The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Distribution & Logistics Systems to...

  • Lead & implement project initiatives in areas of Distribution & Logistics Systems,
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into systems solutions
  • Develop functional and technical designs, configurations, guide developers, conduct system testing and coordinate user testing/training
  • Operationalize solution through hyper-care and transition to support teams
  • Actively seek out and drive continuous improvement opportunities across business processes and system solutions
  • Manage projects including resource allocations, financials/budgets, work plans, issue & risk management and status reporting
  • Ensure adherence to global design, technical architecture, standards, audit and change management.



The accomplished individual will possess...

  • Ability to drive process and system transformation to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Proficient knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and processes, preferably Manhattan Associates.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong inter-personal and organization skills
  • Ability to develop strong partnership with the Distribution Center business units in the implementation and support of applications.
  • Ability to understand and prioritize system needs, and translate business requirements into viable system solutions
  • Strong understanding of all the systems that are currently used by the business partners and their impact on each other
  • Effective leadership skills for the IS team. This individual will have 2 direct reports and will also be responsible for managing consultants depending on the projects.


An outstanding professional will have...


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.  MS or MBA degree a plus.
  • 6-8 years of experience in IT with a broad range of exposure to all aspects of IT: project planning, systems analysis, application development and deployment.
  • 2-4 years’ experience with Warehouse Management Systems, preferably Manhattan Associates
  • 3-5 years of management experience, i.e. coaching, mentoring, and managing a team.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record
