Job Title:  Account Executive  – Middle East & India


Primary Purpose:


The Account Executive will support the strategic and operational execution of product launches, driving in-season performance against sales and margin targets and play a key role in supporting the full lifecycle of a buy from sell in to sell out within the Middle East & India region.  


The role will have the following main areas of focus/responsibility:


  • Manage the strategic and operational execution of product investment for Middle East & India Distributor partners across categories, with primary focus on Coach
  • Support the analysis of trade to drive productivity, ensuring key KPI’s are met
  • Ensure cohesive investments, reflective of regional price, assortment, silhouette & functionality, specific to region performance
  • Contribute to assortment strategies, product selections and tiered door assortments
  • Provide analysis for in-seasonal buy reviews, hindsight & trade meetings
  • Contribute to weekly / biweekly, partner trade meetings, collaborating to ensure clear strategic actions to maximize performance
  • Drive performance against sales and margin targets; maximize in-season opportunities and affect future inventory, minimizing risk and potentializing opportunities to propose to Line Manager
  • Based on trade and alignment with Global best practices, provide clear direction on promotional strategies across categories suited to each region and consumer
  • Partner with Wholesale Operations, Customer Service & Logistics team to ensure timely and complete deliveries for the MEAI region
  • Analyze and interpret product performance, customer feedback, consumer trends, competitive landscape and local market knowledge to drive regional opportunities and provide competitor activity to support
  • Own Outlet Microstrategy and Reporting activities and ensure these are delivered accurately, adhering to timelines
  • In conjunction with Distributor partners, monitor on-hand inventory and own driving activities to facilitate WOH / turn targets proposing actions with timelines to support
  • Support with go-to-market assets
  • In conjunction with Distributor partners, VM & Customer Experience, consider floor set launches and peak trading moments
  • Partner with Customer Experience to ensure seamless in-store consumer experience across multiple touchpoints
  • Instill best practices and ways of working within the team - driving productivity and understanding of Ad-hoc analysis and scenario building to support trading decisions / future needs etc.
  • Build/Maintain close relationships with key partners in the region and internally


The accomplished individual will possess...

  • Minimum 3-4 years wholesale/retail/franchise experience
  • Multi-category experience in a buying / merchandising environment highly desired
  • Numerate with strong analytical skills and financial acumen; operates with clear command of the key financials to support strong business growth
  • A trading mindset and be data driven
  • Strong Excel skills (Vlook Ups, Pivot Tables, Sum Ifs, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the fashion or accessories luxury goods market


An outstanding professional will have...

  • 2+ years’ experience within a Distributor business model
  • Multi-category experience across Full Price & Outlet
  • Merchandising, Planning & Analyst Experience
  • Experience of working with a global company/brand
  • Creative problem solving and strategic thinking skills with strong business acumen
  • Ability to make prudent decisions under pressure and deadlines
  • Build effective global partnerships and interact successfully with diverse individuals at all levels
  • Have clear and confident presentation skills to deliver key messages to leadership
