Primary Purpose: Reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager for Costs & Reporting, the Analyst is responsible for planning and reporting HQ costs for Tapestry Europe.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Financial Planning & Analysis to:
- Partner with the Senior FP&A Manager to deliver monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including insightful commentary for senior management and ad-hoc analysis to support timely decision-making
- Collaborate with budget owners during month-end close, ensuring alignment with accounting timelines and policies. Present accrual analysis, prepare journal entries, resolve discrepancies, and implement controls to monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Own the budgeting and planning processes for Tapestry Europe’s Marketing, Visual Merchandising (VM), Depreciation, and Travel & Entertainment (T&E) expenses
- Lead monthly cost review meetings with key stakeholders to analyse and explain variances against plan
- Enhance budget tracking and reporting efficiency through system improvements and thoughtful process design
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships across Financial Control, Marketing, VM and Store Construction teams to ensure alignment and collaboration
- Embrace a growth mindset, continuously seeking opportunities to expand financial knowledge and apply new concepts to drive business value
The accomplished individual will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related discipline
- Hands-on experience in financial reporting, budgeting and month-end close activities
- Intellectual curiosity and a proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to work independently and creatively navigate challenges
- Strong analytical skills with the proven ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable decisions
- Advanced organizational and time management skills, with a track record of successfully managing multiple priorities in dynamic, fast-paced environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders and foster alignment across teams
- A collaborative team player who contributes positively to group dynamics and shared goals
- Entrepreneurial drive, with examples of self-starter projects in professional or extracurricular contexts
