Construction Duties

  • Perform a wide variety of duties as required reporting directly to the Director of Store Planning and Construction. 
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to compile final project costs.
  • Compile project turnover documents for stakeholders including facility documentation, close-out warranties, and other pertinent information.
  • Facilitates all final project paperwork, receipt of any Tenant Allowance within target timelines.
  • Responsible for budget reconciliation and final project closeout in partnership with Finance and Production.
  • Partners with Construction Managers and Production to complete general contractor paperwork. Compiles and assembles the general contractor contract package. Tracks, generates and ensures general contractor payments.
  • Communicate directly with retail stores on scheduling

 

Business Development Duties

 

  • Consolidate design brief information and sends to design team to kick off the design phase
  • Once project approved by the board coordinates with landlords and BU buying, VM and store teams to obtain all elements to create the design brief (Cover Sheet, LL design criteria, site photos etc….)
  • Participates in bi-weekly/monthly new store opening meetings including Retail Ops, Stores, IT, Design, Construction and ensures all teams have the necessary information to progress timely on project completion (design brief, CER number, POs etc..)

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook; Computer applications related to the work and knowledge of Procore project management software.
  • Standard office administrative practices and procedures, including the use of standard office equipment
  • Creative an innovative techniques for performing assignments
  • Facilities and/or Construction Administration experience with a retail, multi-store chain is recommended
  • Proper English usage, spelling grammar, and punctuation; Business correspondence formatting
  • Basic account and record keeping; Basic budgeting theories and principles
  • Good time management is essential
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, superiors, and representatives of public and private organizations and others sufficiently to exchange or convey information
