Creative Production Assistant

Primary Purpose: Reporting directly to the Senior Creative Production Manager, the Creative Production Assistant, Tapestry Europe, will collaborate with the EMEAI Production, Visual teams and Corporate Global Environments team in New York to support with execution of all display elements for Tapestry EMEAIR locations. Projects will include, but not be limited to prop ordering and logistics, seasonal graphic change-out co-ordination, in store sign-age orders and art working, ad-hoc support on window and pop up installations as well as being the main administrative point of contact for the team for couriers, sample management and corporate communications with the stores.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to... 

 

    Support the Senior Creative Production Manager to execute the 3D window installations for Coach Europe locations upon receiving strategic direction from NY creative production team. This will include laying out schemes, placing orders and working with vendors on sampling with some out of hours installation where necessary.

    Maintain and update all administrative processes (store database, vendor address book, distribution lists for graphics/light boxes, database of all window drawings).

    Support the Creative Production Coordinator with the quarterly graphic campaign roll outs for Coach light boxes, across all business units upon receiving direction from NY. This will include mapping out images for all EMEAI stores so a good understanding of InDesign is a must.

    Coordinate logistics for ordering the seasonal Coach windows and prop roll outs through the Tapestry globally procured vendor.

    Track shipments and orders placed to ensure deadlines are met.

    Support with the logistics of all VM Prop shipments from the U.S. hub to local distribution center and onto stores.

    Support the wider VM team with producing photo decks of recent projects to share throughout the business as well as decks for internal meetings with cross functional partners and executives.

 

The accomplished individual will possess... 

 

    A background within fashion retail with a minimum of 1-2 years VM / display / production experience.

    A strong creative eye and a passion for visual merchandising with some physical visual merchandising and display experience a bonus.

    Ability to interface with corporate partners and outside vendors with strong communication skills and able to maintain good vendor relationships.

    Demonstrates strong initiatives, ownership and accountability for projects.

    Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable working at all levels.

    Ability to work strategically, quickly, with great time keeping and a strong sense of urgency in a very fast paced environment.

    Must be highly organized, detail oriented and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously within short time lines as well as being a true self starter able to manage ones own priorities.

    Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite
