Primary Purpose:

The Ecommerce Country Manager – Germany (Tapestry) will be responsible for developing a localized German ecommerce strategy for the Kate Spade and Coach brands, managing initiatives to drive regional business growth. This role will dual report to the Senior Ecommerce Director (Kate Spade) and Senior Ecommerce Director (Coach).

 

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Ecommerce & Marketing to...

  • Identify and drive initiatives to grow Tapestry’s ecommerce business within the German market
  • Analyze regional product performance and create merchandising strategies to drive profitable sales growth
  • Proactively research onsite customer behaviour using Google Analytics, Quantum Metrics, Qubit and Certona platforms to understand regional shopping trends, content engagement and opportunities for cross channel learnings
  • Feed into trading and content calendars with locally relevant opportunities and create on site experiences to drive product discovery and conversion
  • Manage translation agency to ensure the copy across all sites and marketing channels is consistent, engaging and regionally appropriate
  • Work closely with Ecommerce Trade teams, to feed into ongoing A/B testing strategy and roadmap
  • Collaborate with European Performance Marketing teams, to brief, manage and build content to support local marketing activity
  • Support Ecommerce Managers to help develop and improve user experience, recommending new site features and functionalities as part of the wider European development roadmap
  • Partner closely with regional Retail, Wholesale and Brand Marketing teams to ensure a seamless omnichannel experience is executed across all channels
  • Act as point of contact for our customer service team to identify potential issues on site and ensure language used is customer friendly
     

The accomplished individual will possess...

  • Native German language skills
  • 3 years or more Ecommerce experience for a retail/Ecommerce luxury company
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-orientated
  • Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines and have a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong problem solving skills; proactive and take initiative
  • Ability to act quickly to last minute requests and changes
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Highly computer literate, particularly in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
