We are looking for a hard-working, highly motivated Finance Manager to play a key role within our finance control department. This role will involve day to day general accounting activities and will have the following main areas of focus/ responsibility:

  • Owing the payroll accounting of Tapestry Europe.  Working collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure accurate reporting across all Tapestry brands.  Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all payroll entries and balance sheet reconciliations;
  • Supporting the monthly P&L review of Stuart Weitzman and being a pivotal point of contact to the Stuart Weitzman brand FP&A team;
  • Supporting with other general accounting matters;
  • Assisting in maintaining and improving our internal controls and processes as the finance function continues to grow;
  • Building close working relationships with the FP&A team and cross business partners;
  • Supporting the analysts and interns in their day to day activities; and
  • Ad hoc analysis to support current business initiatives and priorities.


The Manager will join a high-performing and will work cross-functionally to monitor controls and key processes and to ensure continuous improvement.


The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in accounting to...

  • Support the Tapestry Europe Control finance team and be a team player; and
  • Become a subject expert in payroll and associated costs across all of our European entities.


The accomplished individual will possess...

  • Fully Qualified ACA Accountant with up to 2 years PQE in a similar role or in practice;
  • Strong academic record and a minimum of 2:1 or equivalent in their undergraduate degree;
  • High level understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting methods;
  • Excellent communication skills and be detailed minded;
  • Excellent eye for detail, sound decision making and problem-solving skills;
  • Self-motivated, flexible and performance-oriented; able to work independently under time pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment;
  • Quick to adapt to new situations, systems and processes;
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude and be proactive; and
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.


An outstanding professional will have...


  • European language skills;
  • Experience in the retail/fashion industry;
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and SOX requirements; and
  • SAP expert.
