Primary Purpose: The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the launch and long-term success of Coach & Kate Spade websites within our franchise regions, Middle East, Africa & India. This role will focus on supporting our franchise partners to build branded Ecommerce platforms and manage the customer journey to drive site conversion through implementing best practices, online selling techniques through effective and personalized creative content, site merchandising, marketing initiatives, and collaboration with local buying teams to optimize product assortments. 

 

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Ecommerce, Trading & Marketing to:

  • Support the Director, Wholesale – MEAI with developing and implementing the Ecommerce strategy for UAE, Kuwait, Saudi, South Africa and India
  • Work closely with long-term franchise/distributor partners to successfully roadmap, initiate and launch their Coach & Kate Spade Ecommerce platforms
  • Build KPI’s and clear pillars for long-term growth for the Ecommerce channel
  • Focus on conversion and AUR driving initiatives to support overall Ecommerce growth for retail and outlet online across markets
  • Manage daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly sales analysis for retail and outlet (category/product/cart) to inform continual merchandising optimisations, providing commentary of actions taken and wider recommendations as part of weekly trading and business review trade reports
  • Partner closely with Buying teams to understand Ecommerce buys and key investments across each season, providing additional analysis of product performance to meet growing customer needs
  • Manage and support Online Merchandisers to ensure successful day-to-day trading of owned categories through site merchandising and optimization of customer journey for both monobrand and multibrand websites
  • Own and manage the product data and product content process, ensuring all products, new season launches, sale periods and promotions go live on time across all markets
  • Own and manage the translations process for all site content, ensuring launch dates are met on time
  • Manage and continually optimise product findability, navigation, category and product pages
  • Partner with Franchise/Distributor teams to drive omni-channel strategies. Support store traffic with personalised geo-targeting campaigns
  • Own strategic conversion driving initiatives to deliver a robust A/B and multivariate testing roadmap, analysing effectiveness across target segments to drive commercial results
  • Lead digital projects supporting the annual sales plans across markets, leading with a customer led approach
  • Understand onsite customer behaviour to optimize user experience using Google Analytics, Quantum Metrics, Certona and other third-party vendors to support decision making
  • Partner with the Marketing, PR and CRM teams to support and execute online campaigns
  • Build and leverage key relationships with Europe and Global Ecommerce teams and Buying, Creative, Creative Production, IT and Marketing
  • Monitor competitor sites and keep up to date on Ecommerce industry trends and best practices

 

The accomplished individual will possess:

  • 4-5+ years’ experience in Ecommerce with trading or merchandising expertise
  • Experience with website launches and strong knowledge of Ecommerce platform builds including wireframes, coding, customer journey and payment add ons
  • Experience working with the Middle East, Africa and India regions is desirable
  • Background in online retail, preferably in a multi-channel, globally branded environment with experience in a matrix or global organization set up
  • Experience using Demandware, Salesforce & Shopify
  • Highly proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong analytical and data driven approach
  • Able to work autonomously and as a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisation, communication & presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines and a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong problem-solving skills; proactive and takes initiative
  • Ability to act quickly to last minute requests and changes
  • Proactive, positive and can-do attitude
