Primary Purpose:

The Senior Ecommerce Product Manager (Tapestry) will be responsible for developing a localized product strategy for the Kate Spade and Coach brands, managing initiatives to improve customer experience and drive regional growth. This role will be integral to shaping and defining the European ecommerce roadmap and will drive the roll out of all new product features hitting the European websites. This role will dual report to the Senior Ecommerce Director (Kate Spade) and Senior Ecommerce Director (Coach), and is supported by the Ecommerce Product Manager (Tapestry).


The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Ecommerce to...

  • Champion and drive the ecommerce product strategy across all European websites to best meet the needs of the business and our customer
  • Partner with global product managers and global business managers to ensure local European requirements are understood and built into the global strategy so that initiatives meet both business objectives and European customer expectations
  • Act as lead business representative for cross-functional development projects, primarily focused on the European TORo platform migration, IBM OMS Sterling integration and DC expansion which are due to rollout in Spring 2023, ensuring all business requirements are captured and executed against
  • Manage the process of collating and effectively communicating all business requirements touching the Tapestry ecommerce businesses, and complete thorough testing, feedback and validation of all new digital functionality added to the sites
  • Regularly report back to Kate Spade and Coach stakeholders on the status of impactful business development projects, presenting any risks to agreed timelines or expected outcomes
  • Lead and manage the local product management and development team to best manage and prioritise site development releases across Europe’s Tapestry websites with minimal disruption to the running of the sites
  • Regularly review internal reporting and customer insight tools to identify opportunities to make improvements to the customer journey and process inefficiencies
  • Work closely with local ecommerce teams to understand and support MVT roadmap and build successful experiences into digital roadmap
  • Partner closely with other departments including Retail, BIMA and Marketing teams to identify opportunities to streamline processes within backend systems to ensure the business is running as efficiently as possible across all channels and delivering a best in class omni channel experience



The accomplished individual will possess...

  • 5 or more years experience in a Delivery/Product Management, Scrum Manager or Programme Manager role
  • Experience of end-to-end digital product ownership
  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to familiarise with new systems quickly and efficiently
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferred, experience working within similar large-scale website platforms essential
  • Jira and confluence experience with other task management tools (such as Trello) a bonus
  • Proven experience within a retail ecommerce business (luxury fashion preferable)
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-orientated
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines and have a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong problem solving skills; proactive and take initiative
  • Ability to act quickly to last minute requests and changes
  • Commercially focused and results driven
  • Able to work autonomously and hands-on without supervision
  • Highly computer literate

  • Experience working on omnichannel retail product
  • Experience working within a multi-brand organisation
  • Experience working in a small team, or startup environment
  • Experience of working with U.S based head office and engaging with teams in multiple time zones
  • Basic HTML, CSS and Javascript knowledge
  • Fluency in German or other European languages
