Primary PurposeThe Regional Brand Ambassador (RBA) represents Tapestry’s brands (Coach & Kate Spade New York) and is responsible for driving sales and service in a flagship department store and overseeing a small regional department store network in London. Reporting to the Senior Regional Brand Ambassador (SRBA), the RBA provides feedback and insights and ensures Tapestry’s values and business priorities are demonstrated on the shopfloor. The RBA leads by example to educate and upskill Brand Ambassadors, Specialists and store colleagues, and ensures customers have a seamless experience, however and whenever they choose to shop.  The RBA is the main point of contact for Tapestry within their host store and liaises with Store Management, Personal Shopping, In-Store Marketing and wider floor teams. The RBA will drive the customer experience, omni channel approaches and seek new opportunities for further brand growth.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

Sales:

  • Track and analyse store targets to ensure they are met & exceeded and in line with expectations across the region, where relevant compiling and presenting action plans to SRBA
  • Build and cultivate strong relationships with Brand Ambassadors & Specialists and Store Management to drive brand awareness and customer retention. Implement and communicate business initiatives and act as a liaison between the host stores and SRBA
  • Ensure teams within the region are trained and educated on the brands, share best practice for product training to increase knowledge, recruitment of new customers and ultimately drive sales 
  • Monitor in-store activity and identify new opportunities in-store or within local events for all responsible locations, this could include Monogramme Machine, GWP activations or omni channel customer events

 

 Customer Service:

  • Ensure Brand Ambassadors & Specialists within the region are providing a seamless customer experience and up to date on brand and product training. Provide storytelling tools to engage and apply new types of service to customers
  • Drive ideas for clientelling and event hosting, and support with co-hosting in-store events 
  • Build strong relationships with local retail brands to understand customer demographic, profiling, and future brand opportunities. Attend local brand events to gain a stronger understanding of key business priorities

 

 Visual Merchandising:

  • Implement VM directives across all locations to ensure new season product is showcased alongside delivery drops
  • Implement VM guidelines during markdown periods and ensure visuals are consistent with the region
  • Build a strong relationship with the Regional VM Manager and regularly share images to seek feedback and develop VM skills

 

Operations:

  • Manage product deliveries and replenishment, ensuring back of house areas for all locations are clean, tidy, and well maintained. Escalate operational issues to SRBA where necessary
  • Complete trade reports in a timely manner and ensure product call outs are shared with SRBA/Sales Team
  • Coordinate with SRBA to schedule adequate floor coverage for all locations

 

The Regional Brand Ambassador will possess: 

  • Minimum of 2 years retail experience 
  • Ability to travel within London 8 days per month
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends & bank holidays
  • Previous experience of working within a department store is desirable
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organisational and analytical skills 
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends
  • Self-motivated with the ability to strategize to help develop the business 
  • A passionate team player with the ability to work well with others
