Job Summary:

 

The Project Manager will support the Global Environments team by overseeing the completion of Tapestry brand retail stores in the Greater China market from project initiation to completion.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing store layouts from sketch form to schematic design for internal review and further development into CAD documents. Highly skilled project management is the focus of the work.
  • Presenting designs to internal and cross-functional teams for review and alignment.
  • Managing the development and issuance of Design Development and Construction Document sets.
  • Reviewing millwork/shop drawings and finish sample submittals.
  • Coordinating with our partners in Construction, Procurement, Merchandising and Business teams.
  • Following up with potential punch lists and Day 2 items from internal partners after project completion.
  • Attending and producing notes for meetings with Business partners.
  • Taking project ownership and managing schedules to ensure the tracking of company goals and annual operating plan.


Skills and qualifications:

  • College Degree – Architecture, Interior Design
  • 5-8 years experience in architecture/interior design position.
  • Excellent proficiency in ACAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be self-motivated, highly productive, and have excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as cross functionally with other business groups.
  • Must be a highly organized, self-starter with ability to handle multiple priorities at once.
  • Must be able to read and understand architectural drawings.
