The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Procurement & Sourcing to…
- Maintain a repository for procurement legal documents including NDAs and MSAs for all vendors and compile global vendor list
- Prepare quarterly report and present to senior management on procurement activity and operational savings
- Assist in sourcing activities by preparing, issuing and evaluating bid and RFI/RFP requests. Support Sourcing, RFI, RFP, Negotiations Activities:
- Millwork, VM & SBO Materials
- Warehouse / Logistics
- Create and maintain project timelines to improve efficiency of Global Environments initiatives, and secure on-time delivery of programs with domestic and international suppliers
- Work independently with minimal guidance, understanding when to escalate / provide visibility to leaders & stakeholders
- Leverage accurate analysis, demonstrates strong project management skills, and exercises sound judgment to effectively solve problems, drives for results, and mitigate risk
- Drive the tactical execution of the day-to-day plan to deliver consistent and sustainable savings and business value creation for the organization.
- Develop metrics, tools, and processes to properly track and communicate efficiencies across the various spend activities, with guidance from managers.
- Provide analysis and interpretations of actual performance versus plan/forecast and assess the impact on future results.
- Assist Negotiation and finalize price, quality and delivery. Develop optimization scenarios for awards.
The accomplished individual will possess...
- 1-3 years of work experience preferred; prior Procurement/Sourcing or consulting experience preferred; a combination of education and experience will be considered
- Some knowledge of millwork, material substrates, manufacturing processes and quality management
- Knowledge in: sourcing process, contract management, financial analysis, market analysis, supplier analysis, supplier diversity, supplier management and technology utilization
- High level of self-motivation with the ability to drive change in a global decentralized organization with minimum supervision
- Strong project management skills and results orientation
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated success in gathering data, conducting analyses, and generating high quality outputs
- Knowledge of Ariba and Workday procurement management systems is a plus
- Ability to collaborate on international projects
- Effective organization, time management, and influencing skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

- Advanced Microsoft Excel user knowledge and skills for key excel capabilities, functions and formulas
- Proficiency in other parts of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of Strategic Sourcing Methodology and Contract Management is essential Technical knowledge and expertise in certain commodity areas is a plus
