Job Title:  QA Specialist, Site Optimization

Primary Purpose:

This Site Optimization team is responsible for the implementation, strategy, and best practice application of A/B testing, site tagging, data governance, site optimization, and optimization tool management. The team enables product, IT, brand marketing, and ecommerce teams by creating and facilitating strategic tests, data gathering, and optimization, following a highly focused roadmap and schedule. The team works closely with Digital Product, Digital IT, Brand Merchandising, Ecommerce, and Marketing teams.

 

The QA Specialist will be responsible for the delivery of QA signoff for Tapestry’s A/B testing, site optimization, and web analytics implementation. They will be responsible for validating and approving code for on-site experiments and web analytics custom buildout. They will be responsible for adhering to the tagging, testing and site optimization roadmap and calendar while balancing a variety of technical stakeholder requirements. 

 

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in QA to... 

  • Assist the QA of consumer-facing experiences and analytics data capture across multiple websites
  • Adhere closely to the testing and site optimization roadmap while meeting deadlines and project timelines
  • Coordinate with a project manager to assure all site optimization tickets are validated and approved per stakeholder requirements
  • Support processes to efficiently facilitate QA of tagging, testing and site optimization efforts at scale

 

The accomplished individual will possess...

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred 
  • 2+ years of QA experience with an ecommerce website preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with simultaneous QA across all major combinations of device, operating system, and browser type
  • Experience using common tools for debugging issues with a site’s data layer and network calls, such as Chrome DevTools or equivalent
  • Experience clearly documenting issues and writing replication instructions for developers
  • Familiarity with procedures for testing multiple experiences delivered via an A/B testing platform such as Optimizely, Adobe Target, Monetate, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with at least one web analytics platform such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or equivalent
  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, Confluence, or similar
  • Experience with automated tag quality management tools such as ObservePoint or equivalent
  • Familiarity with Agile project management
  • Some familiarity with coding languages and markup structures including: JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML, Apex
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a highly collaborative manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
