Job Title: Sr. Manager, UI/UX Design

 

Primary Purpose:

The Sr. Manager, UI/UX Design has strong visual design skills and is an expert in graphic design and interface design with responsibility for the delivery and output of quality and timely UI design deliverables including wireframes, supporting visuals, prototypes and comps.  Work with a team to deliver projects in a timely and efficient manner, consistent with the process and standards set in place both internally and externally across the business.

 

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in UI/UX design to...

  • Contribute to the execution of high-quality web design for all the business's web properties under the direction of the Senior UX Leaders
  • Design visually satisfying and compelling experiences for users, drawing on results from user research and workflow analysis
  • Work closely with internal and third parties/vendors to develop designs that address business objectives
  • Execute a strong vision for excellence in web design and work closely with stakeholders to create a unified, customer driven design direction
  • Combine creative concepts and design with digital consumer technologies to create innovative site designs, marketing, presentations, and graphics for all projects
  • Ideate, design, and prepare assets for projects
  • Adhere to design standards and brand guidelines
  • Manage the visual and interactive creative assets, as well as final solutions, and maintains assets within the design management system

 

The accomplished individual will possess...

  • Strong visual design skills
  • Fluency in a variety of design tools, web development languages, and technical considerations needed when designing
  • Versed in HTML and familiar with CSS
  • A portfolio that demonstrates systematic and creative thinking as well as a deep understanding of UI/UX best practices
  • Expert understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and cropping of photography
  • Ability to write simple copy within the designs
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with experience communicating complex ideas in a clear and simple manner
  • Experience in usability testing and analysis
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and efficiently organize work tasks to meet company goals
  • Attention to detail with critical thinking and exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in the Atlassian Suite, MS Office Suite, and Google Suite
