Coordinator Production Planning


Primary Purpose:

  • Primary responsibility of this position will be to create production plans that provide a level of product availability to all channels of distribution in keeping with company objectives.
  • Place orders with Service Providers that supports production lead time. Monitor production and finished goods delivery into the distribution center to ensure timely receipt.

  • Create production plans that provide a level of product availability to all channels of distribution. Ensure timely placement that supports production lead times.
  • Place orders with Service Provider within production lead time
  • Communicate with Service Provider daily on production status and address any issues to ensure timely deliveries to DiC.
  • Generation, distribution and maintenance of purchase orders to service providers as required by production plans.
  • Maintenance of data integrity within production system (SAP) based on current WIP status from service providers.
  • Partner with logistics team and DC to expedite shipment and receiving into Distribution center.
  • Coordination and effective communication with cross-functional partners regarding production delivery issues and requirements.
  • Initiation and monitoring of financial process (i.e., FG invoices, credit/debit notes) for all service providers.


 The accomplished individual will possess...


  • 3 years’ experience in Production Planning and Inventory Allocation.
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP, ECVision, Tradelink and advanced Excel skills
