Job Title: Director, Digital Innovation & Testing

Primary Purpose: Work with product and brand stakeholders to prioritize upcoming tests, gather requirements, and ensure flawless execution of tests.


The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Digital Innovation & Testing to:


  • Maintain the enterprise testing calendar
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure efficient development and deployment of tests
  • Monitor in-flight tests to ensure tests are capturing data correctly and not causing potential harm to commercial results
  • Self-generate optimization ideas and nurture ideas from across the enterprise, including voice of customer and call center, into testable hypotheses
  • Work with Data Labs to define/certify testing approach and KPIs
  • Maintain the enterprise repository of testing results and other related artifacts
  • Own and maintain digital experimentation toolset
  • Identify opportunities and new tools to improve testing capabilities and process
  • Execute proofs of concept of new tools with prospective vendors in both the experimentation and general ecommerce domains
  • Work with brands on change management and training as applicable


The accomplished individual will possess:


  • 5+ years of experience managing digital experimentation for a major ecommerce brand (experience with Optimizely preferred)
  • Deep understanding of testing methodologies & analytics
  • Experience with testing platform deployment and validation (client-side and server-side)
  • Experience translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications and working with technical experts to achieve accurate implementation
  • Ability to operate in a complex, matrixed organization and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functional areas
  • Exceptional attention to detail and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Basic front-end coding ability a plus
