Lease Administrator, Real Estate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and abstract legal documents for lease summaries for distribution to cross-functional partners and enter data into the Tapestry, Inc. lease database
  • Ability to interpret lease provisions and to guide business partners on key clauses such as: lease expirations, co-tenancy, lease required renovations, lease required advertising, options, lease expirations, kick-outs
  • Coordinate with finance to pull rental economics necessary for financial analysis
  • Partner with Global Environments on Construction Allowance collection and work directly with landlords and lease accounting on payment
  • Prepare documents for signature, track and process all legal documents – responsible for North America Real Estate legal filing system
  • Coordinate the handling of repair& maintenance issues in partnership with facilities (review the lease, notify landlords, etc.)
  • Handle notices of defaults and Estoppels
  • Partner with Lease Accounting on any delinquent payments of rent
  • Communicate and track critical dates for new and existing locations and support the internal communication to cross functional partners
  • Responsible (in partnership with Real Estate Coordinator) for the tower signage leasing
  • Responsible for the storage program for Tapestry Inc’s brands (with guidance from Sr. Real Estate Manager)


Key Qualifications:

  • College degree required.
  • 2-5 years minimum experience, preferably in retail and/or real estate.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment, ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organization, time management and communication skills, as well as sense of accountability and ownership
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Tririga leasing system helpful but not a requirement
