Primary Purpose:  

The Manager, Global People & Organizational Development (GPOD) will play a critical role in advancing our mission to develop talent, foster leadership capability, and cultivate a high-performing, inclusive culture across Tapestry. This individual will design, deliver, and manage impactful learning, leadership, and organizational development initiatives that support business priorities and empower employees at every stage of their career journey.  

This role reports to the Senior Director of GPOD. The Manager will work out of the NYC HQ office at least 3x a week (Tuesday-Thursday). 

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Learning & Development to… 

Learning & Development 

  • Serve as the lead for store manager leadership development program, supporting current cohort and leading launch of new cohort in FY27. 

  • Support redesign of enterprise leadership development program and lead program implementation. 

  • Track program outcomes and analyze effectiveness, ensuring alignment with business objectives and ROI on development investments. 

  • Partner with HRBPs, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to assess capability needs and deliver tailored learning solutions. 

  • Support development and execution of enterprise learning initiatives (e.g., leadership programs, onboarding experiences, manager capability development). 

  • Deliver / Facilitate engaging learning experiences in both classroom and virtual settings, leveraging vendors where appropriate. 

  • Curate learning technology tools (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, Blinkist, LMS platforms) to expand access to scalable learning opportunities. 

  • Manage vendor partnerships and contracts to support program execution where appropriate. 

Organizational Development 

  • Partner with leaders to design and facilitate custom team development, workshops, and offsites to enhance collaboration and performance. 

  • Support organizational effectiveness initiatives such as culture-building and change management. 

  • Contribute to frameworks and strategies that drive employee engagement, innovation, and continuous learning. 

Collaboration & Influence 

  • Act as a trusted partner and build strong partnerships with leaders, HR colleagues, and regional partners across North America, EMEAI, and APAC. 

  • Champion inclusive leadership and ensure all programs reflect the company’s commitment to diversity, equity, and belonging. 

The accomplished individual will possess... 

  • 4+ years of experience in learning, leadership, or organizational development roles, ideally within a global retail or consumer-focused organization. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field. Advanced degree or certification in facilitation, assessments or OD methods preferred. 

  • Proven ability to design and facilitate leadership and team development programs (virtual, classroom, field-based). 

  • Experience implementing and leveraging learning technologies and tools. Knowledge of modern learning approaches and comfort experimenting with digital and AI-enabled tools 

  • Strong project management and change management skills, with ability to drive large-scale initiatives, and able to manage multiple initiatives. 

  • Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and adjust style for corporate, store and distribution center employees 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse geographies and functions. 

  • Global mindset, with experience working in a multi-region, culturally diverse environment. 

  • Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environment, with ability to adapt to changing business needs 

  • Ability to travel as needed (less than 10%)

BASE PAY RANGE $90,000.00 TO $105,000.00 Annually
