Job Title: Manager, Paid Social (SEM)


Primary Purpose:

Reporting into the Director, Paid Search (SEM), the Manager, Paid Search (SEM) will lead execution of direct marketing strategies for Tapestry, focused on both the Kate Spade brand.  As part of the newly formed Digital Center of Expertise, this role will lead day-to-day paid search marketing activities with external agency partners to create & execute innovative program/campaign strategies focused on driving Omni channel customer acquisition and revenue through efficient traffic, engagement and conversion.


The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in SEM to…

  • Manage day-to-day relationship with Paid Search Agency to ensure projects are managed effectively
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and marketing business partners to drive ecommerce and omni-channel performance
  • Employ successful audience targeting & device bidding strategies to segment & personalize the customer experience
  • Generate weekly, quarterly & ad hoc reporting with the ability to recognize data anomalies
  • Optimize Google shopping (PLA) programs through feed management & auditing
  • Partner with and manage external vendors & agencies to ensure flawless execution across paid search engine marketing activities.
  • Continuously monitor program and campaign performance to enable intraday optimizations, assessing keyword coverage based on customer queries and broad advertising
  • Analyze campaigns and translate qualitative data into actionable insights for enhancing campaign performance


The accomplished individual will possess...

  • Minimum 4 years of experience directly managing Search Engine Marketing programs, ideally with a recognized brand in retail/fashion or at an agency
  • Advanced knowledge of standard industry analytics tools (Google Adwords, Adwords Editor, Google Analytics, Excel, Search Console, SA360, etc), and Ad-serving and Bid Management technologies (DoubleClick, Kenshoo, etc.)
  • Excellent oral, written and formal presentation skills; Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization from external vendors to senior leadership
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
