The Analytics group at Tapestry is the center of excellence for data science and deep learning. Through the application of machine learning algorithms and intuitive web applications and APIs, Analytics is transforming the way Tapestry employees interact with our customers globally.

 

Primary Purpose: This Sr. Product Manager position will serve as the product management lead for Tapestry Analytics’ Data Engineering team, and is responsible for developing and supporting a suite of data-related products across Tapestry’s global brands. This role reports to the Director of Product Management, and works closely with data engineering and backend software engineering partners.

 

A successful candidate in this role will leverage their experiences to:

  • Drive product prioritization and detailed product definition for data products and applications, including widely used APIs, data infrastructure, and customer-facing digital features
  • Conduct in-depth business requirements gathering and research
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, IT, Digital, Customer Experience, and data science partners to drive roadmap for enterprise solutions
  • Partner with Data Management and Data Engineering teams to manage Sprint plans and drive visibility and accountability on progress
  • Support and evolve our Agile framework to drive continuous improvement and deliver world class data solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify product improvement opportunities and help craft user stories in support of these.

 

Qualified candidates will have:

  • 3+ years of product management experience with proven track record of product adoption
  • Experience leading the development of data-related products
  • Experience driving product vision, launch plan, and growth strategies
  • Experience owning software development lifecycle and Agile methodology activities

 

Other preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience managing the technical day-to-day of a product
  • Familiarity with design principles and technologies
  • Interest in and/or experience with data science and machine learning applications
