POSITION SUMMARY

The RPA Solution Architect is a new role that will assist with implementation of Tapestry's automation solutions, assist in building out an industry-leading RPA (Robotic Process Automation) implementations, and drive the adoption of RPA solutions at Tapestry. The primary objective of this role is to help Tapestry’s develop deep and broad usage of RPA technologies. Tapestry seeks a hands-on RPA technologist who can elevate the technology landscape to the next level in a rapidly changing environment.

 

The RPA Solution Architect should have hands-on technical experience and s/he will be responsible globally for implementing Tapestry’s automation strategy. We seek a results-oriented leader who is passionate about leveraging RPA technologies to transform the retail fashion industry. The successful candidate will have proven experience in successfully implementation of large-scale RPA solutions.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB

  • Provide deep expertise for RPA projects and be accountable for end-to-end delivery
  • Drive Tapestry RPA solutions and recommend industry standards/best practices
  • Engage and guide technologists through SDLC phases – Design, Development and Deployment
  • Lead the architecture and design of RPAs for large enterprise with the intent of achieving the goal of a Composable enterprise
  • Solid understanding of the core concepts of RPA leveraged business process automation
  • Define and enforce architecture principles & standards; lead RPA design reviews
  • Define & evangelize best-practice patterns across applications
  • Partner with other architects to enable RPA strategy across the enterprise
  • Lead RPA prototyping (e.g. POCs, prototypes, pilots)

 

EXPERIENCE

  • 3+years of hands-on expertise on UIPath in architecting and developing solutions for automating the complex business processes
  • IT Professional with 5+ years of experience as RPA Developer/Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst using automation tools
  • Experience in identifying the automatable processes for doing process assessments
  • Experience in preparing and presenting business case for automatable processes, solution designing, and developing automation tasks for the identified processes.
  • Experience in analyzing business needs, gathering requirements and documentation
  • Expert in preparing demos for automation requested
  • Experience in Preparing cost estimates on process automation along with timeline
  • Expert in all phases of SDLC such as Analysis, Design, Development, Integration, Implementation and Maintenance
  • Experience working with remote teams based out of different time zones. Should be able to direct, co-ordinate and motivate remote team members

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
  • Working knowledge of a programming language

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • UI Path certification 
  • Expertise in VB Scripting language

  • Proficiency in IO data formats Excel/csv
  • MS Office
  • Retail experience is a plus
