Sr. Analyst, Financial Systems

 

Primary Purpose

The Analyst of Corporate Finance Systems is responsible for the ongoing support and enhancement of financial planning, consolidation and reporting systems. This includes supporting corporate as well as the global finance organization’s planning, reporting and analysis needs. The finance systems environment today consists of General Ledger (SAP S/4), Management Reporting & Planning Systems (Oracle EPM), Financial Reporting & Consolidations (SAP BPC). The Analyst reports into the Director, Financial Systems. This role is based in 10 Hudson Yards and is a hybrid role (3 days/week in office).

The successful candidate will be a technology savvy finance or IT professional with finance aptitude.  Top candidates will demonstrate excellent data analysis and communication skills. 

 

 

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in financial systems, planning, and reporting to…

  • Ensure financial systems are complete and accurately reporting information in order to support organization financial reporting.
  • Execute the maintenance of accounts, business rules, metadata mappings, security and organizational structures, including multiple consolidations and reporting hierarchies (specifically in Oracle PBCS/EPM (planning & analysis) and SAP BPC (consolidation systems)
  • Collaborate across business and systems function(s) to ensure master data governance & controls are in place to provide consistent, complete, and accurate information.  
  • Support the analysis, design, and development of reporting templates and formats.
  • Manage the business process of submission, consolidation and reporting of monthly forecast and annual budget.
  • Support business growth through integration of data received from acquisitions in order to consolidate, report, budget and forecast at a combined Company level (legacy and future).
  • Write and maintain documentation on reporting, business processes and system processes.
  • Provide end-user support and manage internal customer communications.
  • Assist in ongoing project management/communication of implementation new system functions as well as optimization of existing functionalities.
  • Manage adhoc reporting and analysis to support CFO organization.

 

The accomplished individual will possess…

 

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP or Oracle PBCS/Hyperion preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and digest mass amounts of data.
  • Experience supporting global retail organizations with an understanding of multi-currency preferred.
  • Oracle IPM or other AI related experience preferred.
  • Education: Bachelors of Science or graduate degree in Accounting / Finance or related field, minor or dual degree in IS/IT a plus.

BASE PAY RANGE $85,000.00 TO $95,000.00 Annually
