Primary Purpose:

 

The primary purpose of this position is to administer and support the Supplier Management and Buying & Invoicing processes and technology for non-merchandise procurement at Tapestry.

 

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Procurement, Customer Support and Issue Resolution to:

 

  • Perform in the role of SAP Ariba subject matter expert by:
    • Liaising with SAP Ariba support and the internal IT team in troubleshooting system matters.
    • Translating user requests/requirements into solutions, and partnering with Program Lead & internal IT where integration or backend updates are required.
    • Investigating and resolving complex system issues.
    • Articulating system functionality on behalf of Procurement in meetings with internal business partners/customers.
  • Provide outstanding customer support and customer communications through:
    • Addressing Tier 2 Supplier Management & Enablement support tickets across regions, and communicating resolution and instruction back to users and vendors.
    • Cross-training on all Buying & Invoicing functions, in order to provide secondary support in that area.
    • Managing support email inbox and quality program audit assignments.
    • Training and communication with internal customer groups.
    • Partnering with third-party helpdesk provider to ensure issues are handed over seamlessly from Tier 1 to Tier 2.
  • Assist ongoing process management and process improvement within Ariba by:
    • Regularly reporting on usage of Supplier Creation, and Supplier Enablement, and P2P tools and assist with implementation of plans for improving tool usage/value.
    • Participating in and identifying new optimization projects, including those that work towards Global Procurement annual team goals.

 

The accomplished individual will possess...

  • B.S. / B.A. degree in Business or Technology (or other related degree programs)
  • 3+ years of work experience
  • Experience with Procurement technologies and related ERP integration preferred
  • Preferred to have understanding of leading P2P technology practices and trends; General experience of system administration
  • Customer support mentality and experience, whether internally- or externally-facing, including an ability to prevent escalations
  • Experience with global collaboration and good teamwork skills to work with other Company departments to plan and execute enhancements to the above technologies
  • Strong facilitation skills to communicate and educate stakeholders across the Company
  • Strong demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with process, quality control, and workflow management preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word
