2025 Tapestry Internship Program Overview: 

Our 10-week Summer 2025 Internship Program will give undergraduates, masters students, recent graduates and those actively enrolled in a specialized/technical certification program the opportunity to develop critical skillsets and gain hands-on experience at our house of modern luxury lifestyle brands. There will be internship opportunities available at Coach, kate spade, Stuart Weitzman and within our Tapestry Functional Groups.  

 

Program Dates: June 3rd, 2025 - August 8th, 2025 

Work structure: Hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday in office) 

Location: New York City Hudson Yards Office 

Compensation: $20/hour 

Benefits/Perks: Summer Fridays, product discounts, sample sales, meal stipend, and Intern educational & social events.

Tapestry Internship Position Details:

 

Job Title: Tapestry ESG & Sustainability Intern 

 

Primary Purpose: Tapestry’s ESG & Sustainability strategy unites teams across our businesses to meet our Corporate Responsibility Goals and a shared objective: to create a modern luxury company of the future that balances fashion authority with meaningful, positive change. The ESG & Sustainability Intern will support Tapestry’s sustainability reporting, carbon accounting, product sustainability, circularity initiatives and responsible supply chain in support of the 2025 Corporate Responsibility Strategy. 

 

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in sustainability to... 

 

  • Research and benchmark external industry and global apparel trends and conduct competitive analysis in order to identify white space opportunities to make recommendations 

  • Assisting in annual corporate reporting (i.e., GRI, SASB, TCFD) and carbon accounting 

  • Coordinate and track updates on our 2025 Goals and team project plans 

  • Support internal teams on the adoption of more sustainable fibers and traceability initiatives 

 

The accomplished individual will possess...  

 

  • An excellent grasp of sustainability, environmental and climate-related concepts and issues, including energy and climate strategies best practice 

  • Knowledge of, or experience in, GHG accounting, CDP, GRI, SASB and TCFD 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with local and off-shore teams. 

  • A willingness to learn and work flexibly in a fast-paced environment. 

  • An ability to be organized and detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • An ability to handle sensitive and confidential company materials. 

  • Initiative and the ability to work independently with direction as well as on a team 

 

An outstanding professional will have...  

 

  • Interest in Sustainability/Corporate Responsibility, ESG, Apparel & Fashion, Business and/or Supply Chain Management  

  • Strong research, analytical and writing skills; clear verbal and written communication. 

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including ability to synthesize data and information and offer recommendations/solutions. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, etc.). Data management and data visualization a plus
