Tapestry will be offering internship opportunities which will provide interns the opportunity to develop critical skillsets and gain hands-on experience at our house of modern luxury lifestyle brands.

 

The 2021 program will run from June 1st – August 6th. Paid internship opportunities will be available at each of our brands (Coach, kate spade, Stuart Weitzman) and within Tapestry functional groups.

 

Here’s what you can expect from our internship recruitment process:

  • Application Deadline - January 11th.
  • Video Submissions - Should your application be selected for further consideration, you will receive an email prompt for the video submission portion of the application in mid to late-January.
  • Final Interviews - Our teams will be selecting final candidates for phone or video interviews in early to mid-February depending on candidate availability.
  • Internship Offers - Delivered in early March.

 

Job Title: Summer Finance Internships

 

Primary Purpose: The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Finance to work within either the Coach, kate spade, Stuart Weitzman or the Tapestry corporate teams.*

 

*Our internship recruiting team will be selecting candidates based on relevant skillsets that could be applicable to internship opportunities within the following departments: Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Internal Audit, Tax.

 

The accomplished individual may possess the ability to...

  • Support Tapestry’s annual profitability benchmarking exercise, which entails detailed quantitative and qualitative research to establish acceptable levels of taxable income under Transfer Pricing principles for Tapestry’s global operations.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to document current industry and economic trends in Tapestry’s operating jurisdictions globally.
  • Ensure retail sales and payments are recorded accurately in the general ledger.
  • Reconcile cash and credit card receivable accounts using ReconNet.
  • Investigate cash deposit overages/shortages. Ensure incident reports are filed and communicated to Loss Prevention.
  • Track and report expenses related to our business processes.
  • Work directly in our SAP S/4 system to automate accounting and reporting of key areas of spend.
  • Support the financial close process through partnerships formed with the accounting team.

 

An outstanding professional may have...

  • The path to a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting (or other related degree programs)
  • Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
