Primary Purpose:

The VP, Consumer Insights leads the consumer insights function at Tapestry. Serving as the visionary for consumer insights at the company and across each of its brands, the role is responsible for building and implementing a strategic framework for driving value and business opportunities from consumer data assets. The VP, Consumer Insights, plays a central role for the organization’s success in championing a consumer-centric, data-driven mindset. The role leads, develops and engages a team of Consumer Insights experts and interacts with stakeholders on all levels of the organization.



The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Consumer Insights to...


  • Serve as the voice and visionary for consumer insights at Tapestry and across each of its brands; embrace a data-driven approach, ensuring consumer insights serve as the foundation for key strategic decisions across all Tapestry and brand functions.


  • Build and implement a strategic framework for navigating consumer insights and driving value from consumer data assets – leverage core databases, analytics tools, CRM data, big data, data exploration / visualization, AI, and more as relevant


  • Deliver and execute consumer insights initiatives on behalf of Tapestry’s brands


  • Collaborate with broad constituent groups across the organization to ensure that consumer insights translate into positive business outcomes


  • Recruit and develop high-performing consumer insights experts that can champion strategy across the organization; acquire and train new talent to propel the overall strategic mission forward.



  • Champion a consumer-centric, data-driven mindset – emphasize consumer data as the key foundational input; enable this mindset with best-in-class data capabilities


  • Connect with academic leaders and external experts to ensure the company is always equipped with the capabilities to drive competitive advantage.

The accomplished individual will possess...


  • 15+ years of hands-on experience in consumer insights, covering a multi-brand platform
  • Experience in leading a team
  •  Experience managing a full P&L
  • Multi-industry expertise; including experience within retail, apparel or direct-to-consumer
  • Global perspective and capability managing global businesses and teams
  • A bachelor’s degree; a Master’s or other advanced degree is ideal
