The accomplished individual will leverage their proficiency in HR to...

  • Direct liaison between employees and vendor to ensure optimal employee experience for all leave & HR ops related matters
  • Work in partnership with Leave vendor to  perform ongoing compliance audits to ensure all policies and procedures are managed accordingly to drive leave management effectiveness
  • Educate employees and managers on leave practices and policies as needed and implement effective return to work management through engaged communication
  • Oversee People Hub administration for disability statuses e.g. Leave of Absence, FMLA, Parental/Bonding leave and return to work for accuracy
  • Monitor trends related to inquiries from employees and evaluate for alternative solutions.
  • Ensure the organization is compliant with federal, state, and local leave requirements and remain current on legislation by leveraging resources and education for new and existing regulatory changes.
  • Support Employee Relations with ADA process (tracking requests, communications, etc.)
  • Serve as a backup for the Manager, Employee Experience with any HR operations  case escalations
  • Manage vendor relationship and ad hoc projects

 

The successful individual will posess...

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in HR.
  • 2-3 years relevant work experience in leave administration in US.  Canada leave administration experience is a plus.
  • HR service delivery model experience is plus. 
  • Expert knowledge of FMLA and ADA laws and practices
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated collaborative relationship management approach
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information
  • Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations
  • Excellent analytical and research skills with an attention to detail
  • Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Resourceful with exceptional problem solving and decision making skills with a flair for process improvement and innovation
