Sr. Analyst, Fixed Assets

The role of Sr. Analyst, Fixed Assets is accountable for the following:


  • Liaise with offshore team to ensure completion of various business requests for capital projects and fixed asset maintenance for all Tapestry brands.  Business requests are inclusive of:    
    • Capital budget creatings
    • Capital budget transfers
    • Recording costs of newly acquired fixed assets
    • Asset Retirements
    • Asset Transfers
    • Quarterly Register Reviews
    • Monthly fixed assets rollforward and subledger to GL reconciliation
    • Monthly Project Status Reports
  • Participate in monthly financial close including:
    • posting capital and fixed asset related journal entries as needed
    • review and approve monthly journal entries posted by offshore team
    • review and approve balance sheet reconciliations as performed by offshore team
    • prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare and submit Audit Requests to both internal and external auditors
  • Prepare schedules required for quarterly and annual SEC filings including annual CIP support for footnote disclosure purposes
  • Ad Hoc Requests as needed (i.e. impairment analysis)

The outstanding individual will possess…


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
  • 2-3 years in public or private accounting
  • Proficient with Excel & Word
  • SAP experience a plus
