The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Ecommerce to…

  • Build and maintain web applications on multiple platforms such as WordPress and AWS utilizing full stack technologies (LAMP, ISML, JS/JS frameworks, HTML, CSS).
  • Execute content updates on SFCC
  • Communicate with management team, and business area experts to improve product functionality, resolve issues, voice risks and quantify constraints.
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge on web technology and other technology tools. 

 

The accomplished individual will possess…

  • 1-2 years of development.
  • Proficient skills using Web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (JQuery, JSON), Ajax, XML in an eCommerce environment.
  • Experience in working with 3rd party integrations.
  • Prefer experience working in a fashion / multi-brand environment.

Skills:

  • Must be able to learn new concepts and technologies and convert them into customer solutions.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a software life-cycle (AGILE).
  • Able to communicate effectively to IT management as well as business area experts with skills such as empathetic and active listening, and clearly and patiently articulate solutions.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, including the ability to address short term tactical requirements without losing site of the longer range strategic direction.

Knowledge:

  • Proficient in CSS, HTML5, JavaScript.
  • Strong working knowledge in a LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL/Oracle, PHP).
  • Working knowledge of GIT.
  • Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager a strong plus.
  • Internet protocols: SMTP, HTTPS, SOAP/REST a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SalesForce Commerce Cloud ( Demandware ) a plus.
  • JIRA experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
