eCommerce Integration Engineer



Design, test, and support integrations between Tapestry eCommerce platform and enterprise and third-party systems as part of capital initiatives and ongoing system maintenance.  Requires technical expertise to analyze business needs related to the exchange of data between source and target systems, translate those needs into technical specifications and facilitate development, testing and ongoing support to ensure business continuity. Must be resourceful with a high sense of urgency to maintain business-critical systems.

  • Design, test, and support integrations between retail ecommerce sites and enterprise and third-party systems.
  • Work directly with the enterprise, and third party development teams and solution architects to understand requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and interface mappings.
  • Coordinate system modifications through a change control process.
  • Coordinate with internal and third-party development teams to implement modifications and bug fixes, as required.
  • Communicate with management team, development vendors, and business area experts to improve functionality, resolve issues, and improve consumer satisfaction.
  • Create run books to transition new functionality to support.
  • Act as Level 3 and 4 support for any issues related to eCommerce integrations.
  • Escalate issues, maintaining ownership of issues through resolution.

  • Solid technical acumen for troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Ability to quickly assess issues and react to changing circumstances and new information.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to IT management as well as business area experts with skills such as empathetic and active listening, and clearly and patiently articulate solutions.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, including prioritizing and multi-tasking while paying close attention to detail.
  • Flexible to work on different platforms.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of APIs and Web Services.
  • Experience with Postman a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Business Manager a plus.


The outstanding individual will possess...

  • Minimum 5 years as an Analyst/Developer
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or related field preferred.
  • eCommerce experience strongly preferred.
  • Retail Experience preferred but not essential.
